It is actually on the border of Davenport and West Davenport, in the hills outside of Oneonta, NY.

IIf you look it up in MapQuest and you are coming from NY, ignore the directions. These directions take the Palisades Parkway North to Route 6 to Route 17 to Route 10 through Delhi and then Rt 28 through Oneonta and finaly picking up Rt 23 in Oneonta until you reach the campus. See Directions below.

There are faster ways to get there but much more prone to getting lost . This is the most straight forward route.

DIRECTIONS: This route’s major destinations are Rt 17West, Downsville, Delhi, Oneonta and finally Davenport Center.

The following are directions that I highly recommend but there are variable routes if you use a map.

Take 12th Avenue to West Side Highway to George Washington Bridge. Or take any route you want (Major Deegan, saw mill Parkway etc) to the Tapanzee Bridge. If you take the George Washington Take the Upper Deck and stay to the right, take the first exit on your Right at the end of the bridge for Palisades Parkway.

Or if you take Tapanzee Bridge then look for signs about a few miles after the bridge that say Palisades Parkway North.

Take Palisades Parkway North, until just about the end, Exit TO THE LEFT for Route 6 (Central Valley). You will hit a ROUNDABOUT take the second right (Route 6 Central Valley). This road goes straight to Route 17 North, no exits just take Rt 6 until you cross over the Thruway are heading North (Northwest) on Route 17.

Take Rt 17 For about an hour and a half (You will pass Monticello, Liberty and Roscoe, New York) until you get to exit 90 (Catskill). Exit there and head East towards Downsville on Route 30. Once in Downsville, cross Main Street and travel on County Rt. 26 (Blue sign Yellow lettes) headed towards Delhi and Walton. At the end of this road (after going over a big mountain for miles and then coming down the other side) you come to a “T” that only goes to the left or right. Go to the right towards Delhi. This road (less than a mile long) takes you over a small branch of the Delaware River and then intersects with Route 10. Turn Right on to Rt 10 towards Delhi. Drive about 15-20 miles to Delhi and drive right down Main Street until you see a sign for Route 28 (look for car dealership) on your left towards Oneonta (about 28miles). This very hilly turny road on which you need to be careful winds for like 20ish miles through the mountains and goes right in to Oneonta’s Mall /Steak house/Motel strip, as you come off the mountain and on to the mall strip the road becomes RT 23! DO NOT TAKE A LEFT ON RT 28 IN TO THE CITY OF ONEONTA! Just drive straight on Rt 23 towards/past the malls and Restaurants. You are now on Rt 23 and about 20 mins from the Pine Lake Campus.

Stay on Rt 23 until you see signs for Davenport Center you will be turning left once you come in to Davenport Center at an intersection with a sign to the right that says East Merideth and Hanford Mills Museum (don’t go that way) and to the left, PINE LAKE ROAD. Take this about half a mile until it is intersected by Charlotte Creek Road. Take a left onto Charlotte Creek Rd and Pine Lake Environmental Campus comes up on your left within 3/4 of a mile. If you reach Prosser Hollow Rd, you have gone too far and must turn back.
